Put your best foot forward, every step of the way

Not doing so could lead to things that shouldn’t be becoming excuses not to do the work

COVID, a recession, a death in the family, all valid reasons for not doing the work.

Temporarily, at least.

There is a fine line between these things being genuine excuses and them being simply excuses for not doing the work and not doing due diligence.

I don’t mean this to be harsh. Completely the opposite. I mean this to say that disasters such as these can be used as fuel for the fire. They can give us the kick up the bum we need to get things done.

If we’re not careful, however, we may find that we are simply using these as excuses for being lazy, or even for our incompetence.

That is why even with everything that’s going on, we have to put our best foot forward every step of the way. This is the only way we can guarantee that we truly did everything we could for our success.

Then if it fails, these excuses may well turn out to be genuine, and at least we’d know for sure.

Do your best, in spite, no because, of the challenges. This is the only way of knowing for sure.
